The first month of service is $5 with a referral and PartyPay allows for $25/month afterwards - referrals are not allowed on SD and mods will soon be watching you. See this Wiki below for more details and links. -fattstax
Also check your CHASE offers for "Earn $25 back when you spend $25 or more on your first month of service with Visible."
The moderators will remind anyone that posting/requesting referrals in this thread/topic is against the rules, so please get your referral from Reddit: New Megathread for referrals and speedtests for Late Fall/Early Winter - please only post here. No party links. [reddit.com] [reddit.com]
You have 30 days (from purchase?) to activate your SIM and port your phone number to Visible Wireless.
After activation, join a PartyPay group to lower your monthly service payment.
Please note that it is possible to join *any* PartyPay group, but to receive service for $25 per month, there must be a minimum of 4 members in the party. Here's Reddit: VisiblePartyPay [reddit.com] [reddit.com].
The cellphone is locked to Visible for 60 days, and will be automatically unlocked (FCC granted a limited waiver on June 25, 2019 [fcc.gov] to "allow Verizon to better combat identity theft and other forms of handset-related fraud." Prior to this limited waiver, Verizon was required to sell unlocked cellphones as part of the 2008 Upper 700 MHz C Block license).
After you prepay for your 3rd month of service, check your e-mail for the redemption codes for the virtual gift card, and for the earphones.
The redemption codes will expire after 30 days!
Apple Watch (with cellular) can be added for $5 per month (shares phone number).
If you do not have a Reddit account, I would suggest creating an account in order to post your referral link after you have activated your new line. You can refer up to 12 people per year, and with each completed referral, your monthly service cost is $5. [Warning for new Reddit accounts: Reddit will encourage you to post in multiple topics (sub-reddits), but if you make too many posts in a short period of time, your posts can be automatically flagged as spam.]

Around $780 w/ CA tax and selling AirPods pro (assuming $150).
That being said, the hotspot works fairly well but is capped at 5/mpbs and if you're using Android is capped at one linked device per phone. Happy to answer any questions to share a code if you need one.
I am currently using an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Wifi calling enabled. I work from coffee shops a lot and use my hotspot + Nord VPN and don't have issues. I stream Spotify and work away. I've been without service three times in the two years - once while in the Smoky Mountains, just south of Lexington KY and closer to the TN border and at a festival south of Indianapolis but overheard all cell towers were overloaded. Cheers!

The phone. Better deal? Where? You're getting a brand new iPhone 13 pro for $3-$400 off. In my case, I was just about to buy the AirPods Pro so that's worth $200 alone. So for me I just got a $984 phone (13 pro) for $584. NOWHERE does that deal exist. For those of you who claim one of the big three carriers giving $800 off or $1000 off ā WRONG ā because those deals involve multi year contracts where you're gonna get gauged on monthly plans. I've played that game for 20 years and IT'S OVER.
The plan. $5 first month. $25 thereafter. Heck, I just saw an ad for $15 per month for two months! Unlimited everything! Apparently it's promo code HOLIDAY. So for 3 months, I'm going to pay anywhere for $35 to $55 ā TOTAL for 3 months! I currently pay AT&T almost $90 PER month with taxes for basically the same service. I'm getting 3 months TOTAL for fractions of what I pay in ONE month. I'll take that risk any day.
The service. Ok, so who knows how good the service is. I've been with AT&T for 20 years so I have no clue. I could be pleasantly surprised or grossly disappointed. Who cares. It's $35-$55 for 3 months to find out. In fact, to be safe, I also bought the Mint 3 months free deal ($90 for 6 months) from Best Buy as a backup. Once I start using Visible next week, if I don't like the service, I'll pop the Mint sim in my 6s and ride that for 6 months while the Visible sim sits in my Visible 13 Pro and I use it on wifi at home. That means my 6 months TOTAL bill for unlimited everything would be $145 at most for two phones and two lines for 3 months, with one of them extending for another 3 free months. That roughly averages to $25/month for unlimited everything. Which MVNO or major carrier has a better deal than unlimited everything for $25/month for 6 month (with 3 of those months including an extra line)? Not a single one from my extensive research (I'll happily stand corrected if someone can prove me wrong).
The unlocking. Lol. This one cracks me up. JUST DO WHAT THEY TELL YOU TO DO. Stop trying to game their system. Follow it to a T! When I got the 13 pro in my hands a couple days ago, I could not believe how massive the phone was, especially its weight. The thing weighs one half pound - literally! Remember, I've been rolling with a 6s for 5 years, which is like a feather in comparison. The first thing I said to myself was, "no biggie, if I don't like it, I'll just pop the Visible sim in it with my ported number, use it occasionally/never/let it sit in the box until it's unlocked in 3 months and once I get my $400 of goodies, I'll sell the thing." It will be MINT/rarely used and go for $8-900 easy. In the meantime, I'd just use my 6s with Mint. Then I'll probably buy a 13 mini directly from Apple for 80% off with the hundreds of dollars of iTunes gift cards I have accumulated over the years at 20% off.
The customer service. Who cares. Be nice, be patient/respectful/complimentary/flattering and they'll go the distance for you. I've chatted with them multiple times over the past week and they've all been helpful. Being with the same carrier for 20 years, the whole porting/transferring thing and the sequence it happens with activation, etc. was a bit confounding to me. They clarified it for me and solved my concerns (particularly as the "porting" part is integral to this deal). Their app is slick. You can tell there's some serious financial backing behind this company (I gather they're owned by Verizon). Now, I don't want to downplay any real issues people have had with them, because I haven't walked in their shoes, but my experience so far has been very positive. If things turn sour ā who cares as long as I get my deal honored: an iPhone 13 Pro for $584 and 3 months of service for $35-$55. For that kind of savings, I EXPECT some problems, will eat them for lunch, and consider it an even sweeter deal if I actually get none.
Now, the only REAL problem in my view, is if I follow all their steps/directions to a T and I don't get my $400 of goodies and an unlocked phone in 3 months. I haven't seen such a scenario (not counting AT ALL the people who tried to game the system with all the nonsense of using the sim in some other phone or whatever). So I'll cross that bridge if I ever get there.
**So, in summary, say I ride it with Visible for 24 months it's:
ā $1199 for 24 months, or $50/month (includes iPhone 13 pro and unlimited everything and all taxes), or,
ā $899 for 24 months, or $38/month (includes iPhone 13 mini and unlimited everything and all taxes if I sell the 13 pro and buy a mini and pocket around $300 in the process)
** using 6% tax for phone, $25/month for plan with $5/first month, and $25 Chase offer
In my view ā there is no better deal than this. PROVE ME WRONG.
And no I don't work for Visible. I've been accused of working for Vitamix, Apple, Trader Joe's, Costco, etc, because of passionate arguments I've made on their behalfs based on MY personal positive experiences with the them. That's just how I am if I believe in something/someone.

And, like I said, I will cross that bridge IF or when it happens. I EXPECT problems. And I EXPECT to deal with them if they come up. Haven't seen any so far. IF I have some, I'll deal with them then and post about it as detailed and extensively as I do about anything I experience ā pre or post. I screen record everything and do everything in writing, so I expect to be on solid footing if I ever have to fight. So far, it's been going exactly as I expected. All I'm worried about now is following everything to a T, documenting what I have done along the way, telling it to them in their chats/having them confirm it back to me, and screen recording everything. Waste of my time to worry about anything at this point.
ā $909 total for a 128GB iPhone 11, with 12 month of unlimited/35GB service included
This Visible deal beats that by a country mile:**
ā $899 total for a 128GB iPhone 13 Pro, with 12 month of unlimited service included, or
ā $1199 total for a 128GB iPhone 13 Pro, with 24 month of unlimited service included, or
ā $899 total for a 128GB iPhone 13 mini, with 24 month of unlimited service included (maybe unfair to compare this one as it involves other details as I explained in my previous post)
**Assumes you're in the market for AirPods Pro (like me), or value them at $200. Even if you don't/aren't, fairly factors the fact you're getting a current year Pro phone vs a two year old non-Pro phone.
Again, this is giving Visible the benefit of the doubt that they honor everything they claim they'll honor, and assuming their service is worth keeping for 1 or 2 years.
BTW, who keeps a service for TWO YEARS and complains about unlocking issues on 4 lines, after TWO YEARS. Dude ā WTF. š TWO years and you're complaining now/still. I'll be outta there in 3-4 months tops if I encounter any issue I can't resolve. NO PROBLEM.

- Any suggestion on a cheap service I can port to and then port to Visible, without a contract?
- After my number is ported to another carrier, do I have to wait certain days before porting it to Visible?
I pulled the trigger on their iPhone 12 Mini this past July 2021. It was a $200 gift card along with Nimble quick chargers, USB-C to Lightning cords, and USB wireless charging batteries bundle. Everything went smoothly, porting in from ATT, receiving emailed promo chargers/cords/batteries redemption code, quick next day FedEx phone delivery and the $200 gift card redemption email arrived shortly after the 2nd monthly payment was made with about 12 days left before the next billing cycle to allow for cancellation before the next month.
It looks like they have changed it from 2 months commitment to 3 months commitment this time around. Transient inflation??
I had planned to flip the phone since the beginning so I never used it and kept it sealed in the box. I activated the SIM by putting it in my 6s+ and used the service for 60 days to try out their network and to wait for gift card fulfillment. I am sorry to hear about the recent issues regarding Visible monitoring the IMEI on the network in order to proceed with the unlocking. I am currently pondering pulling the trigger for the 13 Max with AirPod Pros as gravy, so this recent revelation has me worried. I was able to sell the 12 Mini unopened after 60 days, right after the 2nd month payment was collected and $200 gift card redemption email came. I advised the buyer to bring his SIM card to test before buying as the phone was still sealed new and there was no instructions to contact Visible for unlocking as everyone had posted previously that it auto unlocked at 60 days. He unwrapped the phone and stuck his T-Mobile SIM to test, the phone activated fine unlocked. The Apple 1 year warranty checked out fine with the serial number look up, everybody was happy. Buyer got a brand new phone, I got 2 nice dual USB-C/USB-A chargers, USB-C to lightning cords, and wireless charging batteries in addition to the $200 gift card that redeemed fine and a little extra pocket change.
Now in regards to the Visible cellular service, I believe it depends on the time of day and proximity/capacity of your Verizon towers. My data connection was always erratic. I think this is due to their prioritizing of Verizon customers over MVNO customers. If you live in a highly populated area with lots of Verizon handsets and the tower capacity is full, Visible will suck because you are at the bottom of the totem pole. From my experience in my suburban area of 80,000+ population, early mornings were fine and fast, but afternoons and evenings sucked and it bogged down during the usual "Netflix" streaming hours of the late afternoons and evenings. So if you live in a sparsely populated area, or an area where Verizon has not yet hit full capacity, or they recently just expanded capacity on your tower, you will get great service and not get impacted by prioritization.
I believe in "you get what you pay for". All MVNOs like Visible / Mint / RedPocket / TracFone / Simple / Boost, etc are second class citizens. You are the class B stock holders who gets paid last if there are any proceeds left when the courts liquidate a bankrupt company and make whole all the class A shareholders first. If you are lucky to live in a non congested area you will never know the difference as there are plenty of excess cell tower capacity for the MVNOs. But if you live in a highly populated area and the cell towers hit capacity all the time, Visible will suck. Remember this capacity issue will manifest itself even more during time of crisis. If there is a public emergency, your second class service won't get a seat on the cell tower until everybody else gets their call through first. With that in mind and acceptable for you, this is why you have to try before you buy as geography matters because we don't get any "visible" insights (pun intended) to their network operations map to know if your areas' towers are at capacity or not. Be glad the commitment time is short and if it works great in your area, more power to you and pick up a nice package bundle cell phone deal!

Visible sent me a giftcard (cashcard) with an invalid number (says already redeemed), and kept tossing my inquiry to the card company who kept sending me the same invalid codes over and over. BTW, connecting a visible agent is such a pain, i had to wait over 40 min on the phone each time.
