In looking for a case for my Coleman lantern, I stumbled on this deal. The lantern itself is typically $100+ and the case is $20. I've used this specific lantern for over 20 years. It's advertised as dual fuel and, while it will run on unleaded or white gas, I would strongly suggest using white gas. It's probably the ethanol blend that causes the issue, but I've found that running on unleaded will cause issues in the long term.

There are plenty of LED lantern options out there but I prefer old school and this is a great lantern. I've never ordered from Tractor Supply but shipping appears to be free > $59.

Tractor Supply is an amazing company. It's of my favorites. Both in store and online. Great deals and great service. I feel like an ad. :\

You prefer old-school why? In some things I do too, but in this case, in just about every way LED is better and safer.

I have this one and highly recommended it. Take it always on our camping trips. Is also a good emergency backup as dual fuel vs batteries & led. Great deal!

Love mine. Had it for 20 years. I have many high quality LED's like fenix but prefer the warm color temp of gas burning lanterns

yes you are correct LED/battery charged lanterns are brighter or safer but you cannot beat the ambience nostalgic feeling of a fueled/base lantern and its almost indestructible construction. Ive had my old coleman propane lantern from my parents in the 1970s. I replaced the filament and its still like new.

I agree. LEDs on lanterns are almost always a cool temp and give me hospital vibes. The warm nature of gas lanterns makes it that much more cozy and natural

Solar flare comes to mind (might not be away to charge battery) unless solar even then slow
Pros and cons of course

I have both. Prefer this one over the Powerhouse because it's a bit smaller to take it on a camping trip.

I love these. LED lanterns are great and honestly, more convenient but you can't beat the light output and ambiance that comes from these. Also, it's just cool that's its a purely mechanical light source.

The propane lanterns put out similar light, but aren't quite as cool.
