It actually includes a $500 gift card to Best Buy as well, making the real price $1200. Not a terrible price for a 75" QN85 (QN84 is best buy exclusive version, only difference is 40W speakers on QN85 v 60W speakers on QN85). The QN80/84/85 use ADS (IPS) panels so the blacks aren't great, much worse than OLED or the QN90 that uses a VA panel. However the brightness on these panels is quite good and can be good for bright rooms.

I bought the 65" QN90a for a little over $1500 and am quite happy with it, but if I had to do it again I would certainly consider a 75" QN84/85 for $300 less.

Would upvote the deal but OP messed it up by not including $500 GC in title.

Stores have contacts with manufacturers that they can only lower prices a certain threshold or when they can even put stuff on sale (apple is the worst dictatorship when it comes to this). So stores add on gift cards as a work around. You see it alot around black Friday esp. with ipads at stores like Target.

Seems like a really good deal if you can repurpose the GC for a matching Atmos setup or literally anything else at BestBuy.

From what I remember, this model is missing some of the extra speakers compared to the QN85.

It actually includes a $500 gift card to Best Buy as well, making the real price $1200. Not a terrible price for a 75" QN85 (QN84 is best buy exclusive version, only difference is 40W speakers on QN85 v 60W speakers on QN85). not sure if this is a hot deal or not. but $1699 plus a $500 Best Buy e-gift card sounds really tempting.

Added the tv to my cart, and their was an e-gift card bundled. See screen shots.

Even without the gift card this is a great deal, cheapest Costco got this year on the 75" was $1999 and that was without a $500 gift card.

Sams club had a limited deal for this TV @ $1700 without a gift card. I'd rather pay $100 more and get the $500 GC. There's tons to buy at Best Buy, like a good speaker set (personally I recommend the Q850 set, a 5.1 setup that pairs nicely with this TV, includes rear satellite speakers, supports Atmos and Q-Symphony, and can be purchased for about ~$650 from best buy).

This is the same model as the QN85 except this is a Best Buy exclusive model with different speakers…for whatever reason.

So the rtings review applies to this 84 with the exception of the sound score.

Someone on bestbuy said this is 120 hz compared to 85 with a 240 motion rate.
