Any comforter would work with a duvet cover. I have it with sateen duvet cover and it's so soft. Great temperature regulating too.

I bought this last month at $80.00 and just submitted a price adjustment if it can go through. I like it that this is machine washable and dry. Since it is so puffy, it takes me several drying cycles in order to fully dry it. So far it is comfortable, holding up its puffy shapes, and keeping warmness.

I am a side sleeper and like to stuff extra blanket or pillow in between my knees. This comforter provides the perfect stuffing and still able to cover my entire body. Not sure how Summer would be, but this is great for Winter so far.

Does the comforter have loops in each corner so you can tie it to the inside of the duvet cover so that it will stay in place. Otherwise it shifts in the duvet cover and becomes a mess.
