exactly. only difference is that it does not have windows 11 pre-installed, but is eligble for a free upgrade to it. no differences at all with the specs; confirmed with LG support.

Not sure if this one includes the stylus pen though.

Are these worth buying or is the price going to plummet soon with the i9 processors coming out? Seems that they're getting cheaper and cheaper

I heard the body is magnesium-alloy which feels like plastic.

Anyway, I got me the Win11 version and its a super awesome laptop. I got it to do digital painting so I'll maximize the use out of this one. And the price was a very good deal

If you're not going to use the 2 in 1, I think they have the 17 in non 2 in 1 for 1199, which is another stellar looking deal

Well that dropped quick. Was a "deal" just a few weeks ago for $200 more. Pays to wait.

Really shows what's happening to the ultraportable windows market. Those Apple M1's are really putting pressure on them. This computer has had a number of price drops in the last 6 months. It's arguable as powerful as a MacBook Air. The larger screen is the only thing keeping me on windows and LG. A $2500 MacBook simply to get a beautiful 16 inch is insane.

Does this have Windows Hello? I've become a fan after transitioning from Mac to Windows.

Recently purchased the $1199 version but just returned it due to Bluetooth hardware/driver issues. I tried connecting two Bluetooth earbuds and one kept on dropping connection and the other would connect but had no sound. These earbuds connect perfectly with all my other devices. Contacted LG support to troubleshoot and after changing settings, updating drivers they gave up and told me to return it. Not sure if I just got a lemon or anyone else has had these issues.

Don't forget MacBooks aren't ultra portable, not even close, they're literally gaming laptop size now

The new 16" MacBook pro weighs a whopping 16LBS, the significantly larger 17.3" LG Gram(it's 16:9, so even larger then it sounds) literally weighs 3.1LBS

To put that into perspective, apples 13"!!! MacBook pro weighs the same, 3.1LBS. they aren't lightweight at all

The HP pavilion aero13T which is a competitor to the M1 13"ers and actually has a superior supply cooling solution (this normally adds weight) only weighs 2.2LBS, the Asus Zephyrus M16(A 16" GAMING laptop that has 145 watts of cooling power(M1 pro has 30 lol) and unsoldered storage and ram slots is 4.5LBS, lighter then the 4.8LB MacBook Pro 16"

MacBooks are no longer ultra portable, and are heavy for their category despite not needing an impressive cooling systems AND have everything soldered(this is horrible BTW).
