I did buy Fold 3 couple months ago and I ended up selling it and I get the ultra instead.
1- the phone is too narrow when it's folded so you have to unfold it for better experience.
2- as a someone who uses social media apps it's not easy to pull out your phone and take snapchat or instagram pic right a way.
3- almost all cases with Spen are bulk and huge so I ended up leaving the SPen which is really not good.
4- watching youtube videos not great because of the Screen ratio. Basically it's even smaller than regular phones.
5- battery is really bad, Will die before the end of the day.
6- some apps look bad even if you adjust resolution and the screen ratio, for example Facebook app looks really ugly.

With all that being said I still recommend this phone if you don't mind those issues this ua really a good price.

I paid $650 for my Z Fold3 at launch, due to getting $300 back in Perks At Work points.

But yes this is a really really good deal without the trade-in hassle.
That's great! Is that without trade-in? I have Perks At Work as well but didn't get that $300 promotion.

512giggle version is 100 bucks more. No brainer to go for that one. At this price point, trade in values at Samsung on a good day would be almost a net positive so personally I wouldn't be shy if the next big thing does come out next year as it'd be almost a sidegrade in terms of out of pocket.

$475 for my Note 20 Ultra.. lol..
This deal is not worth it with a trade-in, just buy the ZF3 outright and sell your Note 20 Ultra.

I said this about the other fold, I think theyre dumping as many of these as possible, used/refurb units are selling on ebay for $500. I understand thats not new but if MSRP is $1700, and theyre selling for $900, is it really a deal if the current used market is still half of that? These are only going to keep plummeting in price imo.

The cheapest pre-owned on ebay that does not have an IMEI problem is asking for $1200 from what I can see.

$500 on ebay for scratched up used no warranty vs $900 for brand new.

The phone is unlocked regardless but Tmobile might charge you the whole month. Opening a new account will result hard inquiry right?

FYI if you have Total Tech plan you can get the 512 GB model for $1099, it may be worth it for some people.
