I did buy Fold 3 couple months ago and I ended up selling it and I get the ultra instead.
1- the phone is too narrow when it's folded so you have to unfold it for better experience.
2- as a someone who uses social media apps it's not easy to pull out your phone and take snapchat or instagram pic right a way.
3- almost all cases with Spen are bulk and huge so I ended up leaving the SPen which is really not good.
4- watching youtube videos not great because of the Screen ratio. Basically it's even smaller than regular phones.
5- battery is really bad, Will die before the end of the day.
6- some apps look bad even if you adjust resolution and the screen ratio, for example Facebook app looks really ugly.

With all that being said I still recommend this phone if you don't mind those issues this ua really a good price.

This is normal for phones.
Yeah I was curious if the original post about extended returns really applies to this case.

Almost got it but had to be real with myself. 99% of the time I'd be using this folded and the screen is too narrow/long/slim and awkward. Add to that battery life, SPen being a separate purchase but nowhere to place the actual SPen on it and a so-so camera, I'll hold of on other offerings. Just my opinion but stating it in case others may be on the fence.

I have chosen T mobile to activate new line and filled all the information for the new line. After I placed the order, I have not received any email from t mobile, I got the order confirmation from bestbuy. Is this normal? Any idea what happens next wrt T-Mobile for the new line? Thank you.

ONLY USE THIS THING IS GOOD FOR = emulation, especially old 4:3 consoles like PS2/PS1/Gamecube/N64/SNES/Genesis

other than that, grossly overpriced POS that has tons of quality control issues (just search youtube and you'll see) and limited application support for its niche format

I also didn't care for the crease that you see on the device. I think it defeats the purpose of having a great screen if you have a portion of the phone that looks like it is faded.

Dunno about the Fold 3 but QC wise Fold 2 has been solid for me. I guess SD888 played a part?

I used this device for a month before giving up on it and moving back to S21 Ultra.

My main issue was with how thick it was folded. It just made it harder for me to easily carry it around. Surprisingly, the battery life was pretty good on it. You just need to give it a few days for the adaptive battery management to do its thing. Once it did, I was easily getting more than a day worth with moderate usage.

Another issue was the aspect ratio. Most of the time watching videos or browsing social media/reddit, it was not using the full real estate. Zooming caused cropping.

Keep in mind though, Samsung offers great trade-in value, so essentially this would be 1k in itself when trading in.

What do you think unlocked means?
My bad on that. I meant activation. Regardless even if activation wasn't required, it's a bad deal. It's like a brick too lol. It's better to get the next gen note I'd think

I think their engineers need to read this while they're tinkering with the Fold 4 for next year.

Making sure I'm not missing something here.
Fold 3: $899.99
Buds 2: $0.00
Tax: $81.00
Equipment Total: $980.99
1 month Tmobile Service: $65
Total: $1,045.99

No activation fee, no contract, no termination fee, no Best Buy I hate you fee?
I also want to know if this is the total amount to get the device. Or would there be penalties if we cancel after a month
