Please enlighten us how we can get 4.7cup glass locking lid food storage for $2.5 🙇🏻 ♂️
$5/ea is a terrible price. I am always on the look for glass food storage containers with locking lids. On sale they actually are $2.50-$3.50 each. $5 each is close to normal price.

The seals on the plastic ones are great. Watched a review on a test kitchen and they were the most leak proof and had vents for microwave when unlocked. Been using for years.
Never tried the glass but I think I will with this.
I have the glass and plastic ones of these in all sizes. The lids are interchangeable and are basically equivalent other than the material and bigger shape of the glass containers due to the thickness of glass vs plastic.
My favorite aspects are the truly leak proof seal that locks, no separate gasket, and being able to reheat with the lids on (just need to unlock at least one side to uncover a vent hole).

I like that their same-sized plastic and glass use the same lids.
I picked up rubbermaid brilliance sets in both glass and plastic and consolidated what was previously an old jumble of snapware, rubbermaid easy-find, pyrex, etc.
I picked up a couple of these back in the summer and use them multiple times a week. They seal great, I use it for liquid meals and have no problem tossing it into my backpack to take to work. I much prefer glass so I don't have to worry about certain ingredients staining it or scarring it from utensils or over-microwaving.

It's soda lime glass not borosilicate, still worth it?
Suppose it depends on your intended use. If you're going to temperature shock it or try to use as bakeware, I wouldn't. If you're using it as a reduced plastic storage container that you're going to reheat in the microwave, I'd say it's a good option.
I love these! I ordered our first set a year ago. Got a second set last week. They are completely stain-proof, wash and rinse off easy, and they have yet to spill. I don't let them heat up too long in the microwave, but they don't melt/wear like other tupperware brands do. I would like to try the glass ones sometime.
I have both plastic and glass versions for years, they hold up well and are dishwasher safe and leakproof. They stAck nicely. I tossed all my other containers. I use them for meal prepping lunches for the week

Maybe better seal? I only had the plastic version so far. Look forward to trying these
