"Up to 90 MB/s".. I'm at a local Costco, and that spec is listed on the back of the packaging.

That 512 Samsung is a step down from this Sandisk. The Next Generation is pretty close and costs $70 shipped from Amazon.

It's a deal for Costco subscribers. It says Costco in the thread title. If you don't have a membership, you can easily skip it.

Remember when we were using 3.5" diskettes for data transfers of up to 1.44MB?
I remember when we used 5 1/4 floppy's.

I just picked this up Wed night for $50 and was back there yesterday and it was still marked $50. Maybe one more trip again to get my price match...I guess if it's not $40 in store, I'll have them price match to the online price ($43)

And it writes it 60,000x as fast as an IBM dot matrix printer.
It'll run better with CP/M 86.

What is faster, the Ultra 400 GB A1 or the Extreme 400 GB A2? I just got an Ultra A1 from last weekend's Amazon Slickdeal and CrystalDiskMarks says it's 90 MB/s read (spec'd at 100 MB/s read).

Update here. This A2 card smokes A1 cards at write speeds but read speeds are about the same. Great deal!

A2 should be faster assuming all the stars align.

I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago for full price and haven't even opened it yet. Will Costco give me the difference or do I have to rebuy and return?

I got one in store. 30MBps write and 75MBps read on a Note20 ultra. It was an improvement from the Samsung 256 gig Evo Select that clocked at 17MBps write and 72MBps read.

I wish I could get the 160MBps read but I believe only possible using a special card reader.
