Quote from Claytonian :
I bought a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7i Pro 14" from Wal-mart for $700 around Black Friday. The user of the laptop is an artist and will be doing mostly Photoshop and Lightroom work so I got the Lenovo for the 2k 400nits screen (2880x1800).

Would this ZenBook be better for that use? I know the processor is i7 vs the Lenovo i5 and the SSD here is 512 vs 256 on the Lenovo. Basically, do the features of the ZenBook (better processor, bigger SSD, dedicated video, larger screen) override the better screen of the Lenovo and make it worth the extra $150? Again taking into account the planned photo editing use of the device.

This laptop is beefy. You'll want to stick with the lighter one. This one will not be comfortable to hold for any length of time.

Oops- just saw you got the ideapad and not the yoga. I hate their naming conventions. This one can be used as a tablet which is nice for artists but again/ it's heavy.
