I bought a $100 Verizon gift card @ verizon.com and I received the Amex email confirming the use of the offer shortly after the purchase.

I have the offer but it takes you to the offer page that consists of expensive phones and tablets and that's all….

Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems like there aren't any eligible items that are anywhere close to $75.

Edit: I purchased a set of headphones not on the promo page and the $75 back posted to my AMEX.

Just a warning to anyone who is buying Verizon gift cards. Verizon is known to send out unactivated gift cards when buying from their website. They have a 3rd party company which sends the gift cards for them and this 3rd party is horrible. The number on the gift card to call for questions had no option to get a live person and when you call the regular verizon customer service no one there knows what to do. You can spend hours on the phone trying to get this resolved. The Verizon forums are full of complaints about this and a TV station even did a report about this (see link below)

I still show the offer loaded, but never got the amex email. The pending charge is on the card and the offer still shows in the app as being added to the card. I purchased a keyboard and charger that totaled around $80 before tax.

Yeah i have read a lot of stories regarding invalid gift cards. Unfortunately i ordered way before i got to know that Verizon is such a mess. I should have ordered a speaker or something. Well i guess if it didn't work i will file a chargeback with Amex.

Same boat. wish i had known it earlier. It the card is not usable, free money from Amex down the drain.
