I bought a $100 Verizon gift card @ verizon.com and I received the Amex email confirming the use of the offer shortly after the purchase.

I have the offer but it takes you to the offer page that consists of expensive phones and tablets and that's all….

Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems like there aren't any eligible items that are anywhere close to $75.

Edit: I purchased a set of headphones not on the promo page and the $75 back posted to my AMEX.

Yesterday partially prepaid my monthly personal bill with Amex and got email today. Could affect auto billing discount for the month but I will still come out ahead.

I read somewhere that it's better to buy a single item worth more than $75 as Verizon may split the amount for different items. Is it true? I had 2 items that I was looking to buy and the total will be more than $75 but both are below $75 on own. Any DPs? TIA

For those who have received shipping notices, do you also get the "number is transferred" on your shipping receipt? I chatted with 2 verizon agents and say they couldn't help and need to call. I did not request a number transfer.

Doesn't matter seems like a generic placeholder since most online orders are for phone service -- probably too lazy to create different email format for accessory orders

Mine has the same thing with some X's and random digits XXX-XXX-3158 -- don't care
