I guess I wasted $1 on this deal, as I have no use for this until May. It looks like the Boost Mobile rep gave some very wrong info at the start of this thread.

For everyone who stated they have encountered an issue with activation fees:
I will investigate this issue, but there shouldn't be an activation fee for these SIM cards. There are other SIMs that are different colors, what color do y'all have?
Also, if you could DM me with screenshots showing this activation fee, it will help us figure out why this is occurring.
But not being able to tell us the Network it will work on is BS ,
And too many reports from the old Boost of bad service .
and now this $50 activation fee ,
Its my 'forever" phone number and I would really hate to lose it because of BS from Boost

We are working to investigate the $50 activation that has been brought up. It's possible that this is tied to another SIM card offered by Boost on another network, but for this promotion there is no activation fee

The Boost person has already chimed in about the $50 activation fee. It will be removed.
Why would you lose your phone number? I've had my same number since 1997 and have never lost it from porting in and out. You'll be fine.

Yes, if you are not satisfied with your Boost Mobile service after the 1 month of service you can cancel without any fees or charges. This offer gives you the opportunity to try the Boost Mobile Network without any commitments, but we do hope you love our service and continue with us after this first month.
