I guess I wasted $1 on this deal, as I have no use for this until May. It looks like the Boost Mobile rep gave some very wrong info at the start of this thread.

Our team has been working to figure out what has occurred with this receipt and I now have some answers to give y'all. Please rest assured that you are NOT being charged a $50 activation fee for this promotion, you are only paying $0.99 + any tax depending on your area. We are working to now update these receipts to accurately show what you are all paying for today.

Nugget-tn and all others who purchase this deal are not paying the $50 activation fee upon checkout or upon activation. Our team is working to get this line item removed from the receipt.
The terms now states:
By clicking 'Pay Now', you agree to pay the amount due today. Your service will not begin until your SIM is activated. Once activated, you authorize Boost Mobile to charge your card to auto-pay your monthly total fee plus any additional taxes and surcharges. Cancel or downgrade at any time. You also agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy.
Previously there was a checkbox to opt out of Autopay which is now removed.

when I tried last time for the first time of my life, it was nightmare to deal with them.
My phone was already registered to their network, and said promotion did not work until i paid for regular price....
