Costco B&M has the Eva-Dry EDV 1200 for $9.97 (originally $20, then $15, now $10). This is meant for a bathroom or a small room. Link is for reference only. YMMV if your local Costco has them. Costco # 1503666

I have a bathroom with no exhaust.. will give a shot if I can find in stock
I bought this for my small bathroom when it was $29. The unit continuously stayed on with the adapter getting hot. It pulled out little water compared to the damprid bag.

That's not how this is supposed to be used. You put it in an area that is needed like a drawer, small closet, or safe and the desiccant inside will absorb moisture. When it changes color to pink, you take it out of the enclosed area and plug it into an outlet where it has more ventilation. Plugging it in heats up the unit and dries out the desiccant (which releases the moisture back into the air). When the indicators turn blue, it is recharged (aka dried out) and ready to unplug and be placed back in the area to remove moisture again.
Leaving it plugged in is nothing more than having a small heater.

It's really way too small for that use. These work really well for small places that aren't exposed to large amounts of humidity such as storage cabinets and gun safes.
