I didn't mean it like that. I meant that it's hilarious to think of any shady e-scooter companies, that don't try to use misleading info. They purposely test it at a much lower than max, to skew the numbers.
It's like when many would put 700w on a scooter, without stating that 700w is peak. I mean, my 300w segway ninebot ES1 gen 2 has a 700w peak. But, it's only advertised as 300w
Or a car sub company advertising it as 800W.... when it's 800W peak, but only 250W RMS (ie. a number it can sustain w/o breaking)
For each scooter you research, check the manual to see how they test it. Then google real world mileage results.

Hmm. Max 10mph and only 40 minutes of ride time. I get that it's for kids based on the 176 lb weight limit, but that's going to result in a lot of recharging after not much use.
I feel like you could have conveyed that useful information without coming across as condescending and immature.

It says limit is 8-14yrs . My 13yr old is 5ft 5inch . Is he too tall for this scooter.
We also got this from the $60 sale for our 8 year old. I probably wouldn't get it for a 13 year. It's a bit on the slower end even as far as kid electric scooters go. For reference on the power, it barely goes on freshly cut grass.
Can you still ride on this if the battery is out of juice?
Generally with e-scooters, yes. But, you won't generate electricity, and you will need to provide way more force than is required for manual kick scooters.

I see. Might as well just buy a non-electric one then.
