Why? ....
For me, there is a noticeable difference when used on vegetables and fruits (tomatoes), so I am guessing it depends on the depletion or absence of whatever in one's soil. Unlike regular NPK and especially the P and K that requires a few years to break down and usable, this is a chelated product that is readily consumable by plant life... including foliar feeding.

Tips: Just put a shallow spoonful of fertilizer in 5 gal of water (for mature green leafy vegetables) or half a shallow spoonful in 5 gal of water (for small potted vegetables) and wait until the fertilizer dissolves.
