It's pretty much sim unlocked after a few clicks. You can buy the dual sim tray off eBay or Amazon for $5-$10 if you like. The stock global firmware can be flashed if you don't want the T-Mobile version.
Also, I'm familiar with flashing the firmware, but can this version really be SIM unlocked? I'm on ATT if it matters (the only reason I have to upgrade..my 5T is still like new)
You just tap to permanent unlock without sim, reboot and it's done.

It's listed as expired on the other 3 previous posts, but I just got one and it should arrive by Christmas. Save another 5% with Chase and PayPal. 5% education discount they verify with student beans. It's not easy finding a snapdragon 865 for $250.
