I think it's still a good phone for $250 but just know there are issues with it.

It's pretty much sim unlocked after a few clicks. You can buy the dual sim tray off eBay or Amazon for $5-$10 if you like. The stock global firmware can be flashed if you don't want the T-Mobile version.
Also, I'm familiar with flashing the firmware, but can this version really be SIM unlocked? I'm on ATT if it matters (the only reason I have to upgrade..my 5T is still like new)
You just tap to permanent unlock without sim, reboot and it's done.
I'm actually on ATT prepaid and have generally been happy w my service. Here in PR, they sold the wireless division to Liberty, but technically still ATT.
