There a few things that I will never cheap out on. Anything moving electricity is at the top of that list. You're just asking for trouble if you do.

These are much better than ideal if you can pay the difference

Removing the wire from ideal connectors is very difficult in a small box.

The 5 port ones are pretty useful for connecting bundles of neutral wires, if you think you might be installing a lot of smart switches.

not when you factor in all the bad reviews. Really weird part is that amazon shows it 4.5 stars and then you scroll down to the actual reviews and they are very bad.

These have their place for devices that use small amounts of current like can lights etc. Please don't use these at the start of a circuit, all the current passes through the connector vs a wirenut that holds the wires together and the current stays on the wires. Kinda like back wiring an outlet, there's a reason in the trade we do not do that anymore. This video is a great example, Give it a watch.

The Wagos are made in Germany and USA.

Yes, the Ideal os far cheaper, but I use both for different reasons. The Ideal (a non-lever) is more permanent and it is far more difficult to remove the wires once inserted. It is also challenging with some untinned stranded wires. If using solid wire in a place where the need to replace the fixture/switch/outlet is remote, I'll use the Ideal. But, if I'm connecting something that may eventually need to be replaced (smart switches), items with stranded wires, or light fixtures, the WAGO is the way to go. You will be happy you used the WAGO lever when the time comes to rewire.

The average review score is 4.3 stars. When you scroll down to read the reviews, they are sorted to "top reviews" which is what has been voted helpful by the community. Keep in mind that this typically results in extreme reviews getting to the top.
