If the offer is showing in your PayPal wallet then the discount will come off from the paypal side and you won't see it on the instacart site.

Good to know... I'm surprised they pay so little and rely on tips to compensate the drivers. That does not seem fair. Also Uber suggests 18% tips by default while Instacart has 10% by default...giving the pay rate that does not make sense unless Uber pays even less.

I mostly use Instacart with pickup orders. I think that works out best since I would feel bad to pay someone only a 5% tip for all the work you described.
But I am also reluctant to pay extra 30% for something that I can easily pick up myself...
I will try as much as possible to focus on "In-sotre pricing" + pickup available stores for Instacart.

I was able to use this for a Publix (grocery store in the Southeast) pick up order but I used the Instacart app, not the Publix Instacart app, which is what I normally use. There was no pay with Paypal option on the Publix app. I had to "confirm payment" before the discount would apply. I'm so excited about my savings that I might get hubby to do an order on his account! I pick it up later today so if there are any issues I'll report back.

I believe the 5% tip is the minimum suggested by Instacart on your first order but I believe that for all ensuing orders, it defaults to your previous order's tipping rate. So if you tipped 15% on your last order, it will suggest that amount on your current order. Personally, I always tip minimum of 15% and will adjust the tip higher after the order is completed if the delivery person was friendly, efficient and provided good service. I would never adjust it downward regardless if the service was poor.

FYI - the promo was successfully applied to my purchase. I then added my Costco Membership to the Instacart at checkout, and the promo disappeared. It now says, that I have already used this promo and cannot use it again. However, a little pop-up comes on that says "You have $30 in unused credits!", but it is not listed under "Credits, promos & gift cards" nor is it being applied at the checkout. No idea what's happening.

UPDATE: Because I added my Costco Membership number, the prices on the items got adjusted (lowered) and the total came out to under $50. I've added pineapple to the order for $2. Issue resolved. I see the $30 adjustment at the checkout now.

my order wound up being 30 off 45 since a few items were out of stock still not bad, but the forgot a dozen eggs as well and to use the credits i have to make another order

Huh? I just ordered 4 separate orders for Costco. Havent got them yet since it will take a few hours. What do you mean by this?

Do you get another $30 off your next order too? Legitimatley confused by your wording. You saved the $30 already on the first order and total was $45 because of out of stock or forgot items I understand that portion.

no i got $1.98 back to compensate for my missing eggs in Instacart credit so in order to use that credit i have to make another order
