Looks nice, price is good too, but the design is no good! Seems like the glass bottle (Decanter) is attached to the woot. Not very user friendly.

Decanters are for when I have non experienced drinkers. It makes the inexpensive bottles seem more important. Always amazed when they think it's as good as the expensive bottles next to it. These Guests always gravitate to this when adding to coke on ice. Good fun when it fess up the truth!

No, it's not attached. Has a peg on it that fits into a hole drilled in the wood.

The thing is that presentation does indeed tend to influence experience, making this sort of over the top display perfect for a bottle of "fine, and half the cost of what I have on special occasions". A nice glass, some pretty ice cubes and a dash of decent bitters and you have a top shelf experience at a well drink price (because short of not drinking, pouring at home is the slickest deal).
