I'm glad to see that Black and Decker got rid of the proprietary charge cord, however they should have used USB-C, but instead cheaped out with micro-USB which will eventually fail.

I don't think it is cheaping out, they probably looked at what most people have around.

I guess this model [amazon.com] uses the proprietary charger, but I like the light on it. Seems like a good choice got a little less $ if you don't care about the charger or bit set.
