I got this for my teen daughter at Costco last year for $99.99. It has held up to a year of regular use, and she's been very happy with it. The lowest volume setting it not quite as low as I'd like it to be, but there's the headphones option if low is still too loud (like when the younger kids are in bed). Definitely worth the $49 listed here.

Probably decent for a kid that's beginning his/her lessons with a tutor to gauge their interest in hobbies and all. If it turns out they don't like it, no big loss.

Mine arrived today but it was missing the keyboard stand. It had an empty box which I assume is where the stand should have been. Anybody else had this happen to them? And Im assuming I can't just keep the keyboard and tell them to send me a stand. I have to return the whole thing.
Just got this yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised with the overall quality of they keyboard, stand, and seat. The MIC and headphones (as expected) are nothing to get excited about. BUT, everything was well packaged and assembled with ease. It all worked the from the get-go. Of course, I don't have any longterm history with this product, but my initial reaction is that this is a GREAT deal if you are in the market for a keyboard.

I had an empty box in mine as well. Seemed to be filler to help pack out the load. I did get my stand. It was in a separate longish brown cardboard box.
Damn... I remember when I was a kid like 40 years ago (ugh), my parents got me a Casio keyboard that wasn't all that great and it was at least $40 at that time. This looks so much better for cheaper considering inflation.
