wired . . . picked up $20 brand new on CL for both saw and drill (ryobi brand).

people are dumping wired tools for wireless, so check CL

I brought these two tools 2 years ago for about $40 each. The reciprocating saw has decent power, but the blade tends to get caught and get detached. The blade locking mechanism doesn't seem to work well. The circular saw has good power, so it won't bind like my cheap battery-powered Ryobi. The cord, however, limits its use. It works great in a workshop, but not when you need it far from an outlet.

I have always liked Porter Cable, but Stanley has discontinued the entire line/name. So any future support will be very limited, still good for DIYers
