It says:
For Customers with non-Apple devices: TracFone will provide an unlocking code to customers who request unlocking, provided they meet the following conditions:
If the TracFone device was activated with TracFone service prior to November 23, 2021, then the device must have been active on TracFone Service for no fewer than 12 months with Service Plans redeemed in no fewer than 12 months, and not have had their telephone number recycled or ported.
********* If the TracFone device was activated with new service on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, then at least 60 days must have elapsed since the device was activated *********

No, activated after 11/23
What does activation in the context of unlocking? I will port out my number once my bill credits are up on Cricket to Total Wireless…
Should I factory reset before porting to TW?
Where do you buy this plan?
In past we've always needed to activate the sim that comes with phone to unlock. I've activated both TW & ST iphones on TF by using original sim & selecting I have a TF, entered IMEI & sim numbers, chose to keep current number & phones were activated on TF. TW iphone was unlocked in Sept (I did add new yr of service). Did the ST iphone 12 Mini last month & have added 90 days service so hope it unlocks in late Jan.
Since VZ has new policy for unlocking no one will really know anything until 1/23.

Verizon likely to kill these deals for a higher ARU per customer.. instead they will focus on competing with unlimited plans... $50+ are disappearing and verizon is the last one to come kicking and screaming to the $25 price point
