I'm just wondering whether people, and especially teenage boys, tend to prefer the type where all 4 sets of controls are side by side in one long controller, broken into 2 controller units each with 2 sets of controllers, or 4 separate controllers so each player can sit on their own and not bump into the others.
Also, do people tend to prefer wood, plastic, acrylic, metal, etc, for the enclosures? I'm mocking everything up using cardboard boxes for the controllers for now, as I set up and test things, but eventually I want it to be nice and permanent and have a classy look to it.
I guess I could ask them but it's going to be a surprise.

As far as material, I'm pretty sure they're made of wood.
There's such a big bezel towards the top of the system, why not reduce it, put a Larger screen and have much more game options. I would definitely buy it if a few changes were made.
An improved system would be good on longs trips for the kids.
