I didn't see those when I would log in. Only thing I had saw this year up until this one was the normal $10 for a $20 shell gift card. Those are still lackluster compared to previous years.

I got an email from Citi Simplicity saying they made an error and sent the email out early and the sale doesn't start until Wed Dec 22nd, Did anyone else get it? This sounds fishy to me, they should honor their error. I don't know if they're saying the orders are invalid or what.
I can't post a screenshot but here's what it says:
CORRECTION: Your special holiday offers from Citi Easy Deals
We apologize that we sent this email a few days too early. "A Gift Just For You" will begin Wednesday, December 22nd and run through Sunday, December 26th. In addition the information regarding "Gift Yourself with Special Savings" has been updated.

The deals you already got will be honored. What is starting on the corrected date are the $5 freebie gift cards.

Sorry you missed them, they were there (although you sometimes had to refresh multiple times to see the Home Depot), and there was a thread here in SD about them. One hit on Black Friday, the other hit on Cyber Monday. And both were available for 15 or 16 days after originally being posted. $40 for free was nice (they also tossed in a daily deal or two of a free gift card during that period).

Thanks, OP! Got the Walgreens and Walmart cards. Unfortunately, I usually only buy anything at Best Buy on Black Friday, so it's too late for that for me. They don't let you buy other gift cards with a BB gift card. And who knows what deals they'll offer next year.
