Yeah who cares about the part of the laptop that you interact with ever since second of using it, right? Give me a 200 nit one with terrible colors and 10% more cpu power instead, am I right?

Not even for the 1TB SSD drive? Or the 16GB upgradable (AFAIK) memory?

There is a reason computers don't use oled yet - burn in.
Laptops are using OLED for a very long time and the new generation panels handle burn-in very efficiently unless you're idiotically careless. I'm using two for over 2 yrs now.

I am not sure why the thunderbolt port is missing on these, it would have been a nice addition.

It is unfortunately, too much plastic. Makes it feel cheap.

No displayport alt mode and PD charging on the USB-C port is a deal breaker imo.

No USB-C charging is an unforgivable sin in 2021

4 cores is fine for regular productivity work

Why would anyone complain about having more storage space? Especially on a laptop where I'd rather not rely on "the cloud" for everything. To me, having a 1TB preinstalled is a huge plus. Unless/until laptops reach/exceed the all-too-common 4TB you can put as an cheap extra drive in a desktop, I'm not complaining about "too much" space.

Your only buying for the 1080p OLED screen
Just saying it's over priced. The OLED is the best part. Oled on a laptop or tablet is awesome. Definitely the way to go.
Link to another laptop with FHD or better, 1TB SSD, 16GB of RAM, CPU rated 10k or above https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_list.php under $650. Go. (easily upgradeable to specs, while staying under budget is allowed). If I could find this deal minus $1-200 without OLED, I'm all over it - I'm really not nit-picky about screens, and don't often use a laptop outside, certainly not in the sun - but I do use the RAM and Hard Drive...

Probably depends on what you're virtualizing -- but I would question why you're virtualizing on a laptop - with only 1TB hard drive, no less.

Lucky you -- what kind of Amex?
On the bright side, I could use some Microsoft/Bing Rewards for this..

Good deal imo. Only issue for some is the pwm that OLED screens use. no USBC charging sucks but you might be able to find an adapter to enable it. I did that with my Motile laptop and it worked fine.
