The wired version of this controller doesn't have drift issues. Be careful with Amazon reviews. They bundle all reviews for different versions of a device and apply the reviews to all versions. If you look carefully, you'll see the drift complaints are about wireless.
I've had this for slightly over a year. It's been very reliable. If you don't mind the wire, this is a great choice. I know this is at target deal but people do look at Amazon for reviews, so I'm putting this out there.
If I needed it, I would buy another one of these without hesitation.

Have you ever had a shopping cart that tends to tilt in one direction? So throughout your whole shopping trip you needed to put extra force in the opposite direction so that you can walk straight? Yeah, it's like that.

I have 4 wireless and 6 of the wired version of the gamecube Power A controllers. I can confirm 0 drift issues with my wired controllers after a year of daily use. Meanwhile, 2 of my wireless controllers have developed a drift after a year of heavy use. The best wireless option is the pro controller, hands down.

I bought one of these (Pokémon themed version) earlier this year. After 2 - 3 months joystick started to drift. Complete waste of money. Spend more and get something of quality.

I've had three of the wireless ones. Two of them have extreme drift. The third is holding out for now.

Was planning on buying a wired or wireless until I kept reading about drift issues on every other review.

One that I looked at had a 2 year warranty but I think shipping is on your dime.

In the end I am passing on this brand. Seems like they don't care these issues plagued most controllers.

It's been said a couple times already but I have a couple of these (DK & Splatoon, FWIW) and no drifting issues on either. The DK controller is my 6-year-old's favorite, so it gets a reasonable amount of use Smilie

My official joycons on the other hand...

Not sure if I'd call it drift, but I have one that has a joystick stuck basically stuck in one direction.
