Got these installed, honestly cannot imagine using anything brighter. These babies light up the garbage.

I'd stick with big brands when it comes to electronics

These or the long linkable shop lights? I purchased two of the FEIT along linkable shop lights and was thinking about putting them both in our one car garage, but this looks easier
I bought several FEIT CFLs 'years ago' when the initial switch away from incandescent bulbs began - they all failed prematurely, along with Commercial Electric.

That soured my taste for FEIT and Commercial Electric and I switched over to Philips and GE CFLs. GE (pigtail) isn't bad but I still have a Philips CFL (parallel tubes) in a living room end table lamp for over a decade and I use it quite often.

Bought 2 for the garage on a whim, I like them better than expected

Looking at them does leave spots, though

Tilt the panels up ~30-45° from horizontal.

Depends. If your garage is large, get the linkable. It will get better spread or reach. If it is small garage, this is plenty light.

How are these compared to FREELICHT 2 Pack LED Garage Lights, 80W Ultra Bright Garage Ceiling Lights with 4 Adjustable Panels, 8000LM E26/E27 Base Garage Ceiling Lights, 6500K Screw in LED Shop Lights for Attic, Basement https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08PD99...UTF8&psc=1
These come out $5 less with $7 coupon

These are 80w & brighter?
I never saw Led lights with 50+ watt draw, unless it is used in focus light to illuminate large area like a building.

OP one is pretty bright for most users. GE is pretty decent in led too.

Will this be too bright for study room or office?

You can tilt the panels up ~135° up from horizontal to reflect, mostly, off the ceiling. Try one and see if you like it. I bought three, only planning to install one in my garage where the F40T12 fluorescent shop light is slow to brighten during the cold months. I put one in the basement, replacing the 'top of the steps controlled' light that was a 150 watt incandescent (the rest of my shop area is lit by 3 F40T12 fluorescent shop lights but I don't turn them on and off (shortens their life) so I left the incandescent for my wife when she goes downstairs to wash clothes. I also have an X-10 plug controlled by an X-10 motion detector that turns on a 40 watt incandescent right by the steps that I installed specifically for that purpose but she still insists on turning the existing / original light on even though now it's mostly behind a wall of the shop that I added after we bought the house.

Staring directly at the LED panel 'hurts'...

[I've installed two of the Walmart "$13.98 for two units" LED Shop Lights thus far (bought 12), replacing F40T12 fluorescent shop lights with bad (one hot; one buzzing) magnetic ballasts, and now the rest of my F40T12 fixtures look 'dull' in comparison. The question now is how long will the LEDs last...]

3500 lumens per one of the three panels or in total? Seems like Amazon is filled with 10,000-20,000 lumen versions of these and these are pumped on SD every week.

I have a ceramic fixture in my garage similar to the one in the pics on the Walmart site but mine has a pull chain. When a "regular" bulb is screwed in the chain is able to just hang straight down but the base of this LED unit has that fat cylinder on it and I'm wondering if that will interfere with the chain hanging straight down and being able to be pulled straight down. I'd rather not have the chain putting sideways pressure against this light. Can anyone comment on that?

Should probably add "garage light" to the title so people can find it easier.

Leds are binned like cpu's, harsher blue colors are usually cheaper
