That soured my taste for FEIT and Commercial Electric and I switched over to Philips and GE CFLs. GE (pigtail) isn't bad but I still have a Philips CFL (parallel tubes) in a living room end table lamp for over a decade and I use it quite often.

OP one is pretty bright for most users. GE is pretty decent in led too.

Staring directly at the LED panel 'hurts'...
[I've installed two of the Walmart "$13.98 for two units" LED Shop Lights thus far (bought 12), replacing F40T12 fluorescent shop lights with bad (one hot; one buzzing) magnetic ballasts, and now the rest of my F40T12 fixtures look 'dull' in comparison. The question now is how long will the LEDs last...]

Leds are binned like cpu's, harsher blue colors are usually cheaper
