These were good about 20 years ago when 5mm LEDs were all we had. Technology has moved on. Now, I'd recommend something like this for a keychain light:

https://www.amazon.com/LUMINTOP-K...C78&sr=8-6

https://www.amazon.com/ITP-Modes-...C43&sr=8-2

Multi brightness modes is a must IMHO.

nothing like fumbling at the door in the dark for the right keys and having to keep stepping in front of the motion light.

10 lumens isn't that bright compared to some other available options with small form factor. Any of the keychain lights in this picture would probably be a better option, however, most of them are at a higher cost than this Streamlight deal.

The Lumintop EDC Pico [amazon.com], Olight i3E EOS [amazon.com], Lumintop EDC AAA [amazon.com], and already mentioned Lumintop EDC01 are around $10-15.

I have also been interested in getting a ThruNite Ti2 [amazon.com] or Ti3 [amazon.com] for a while now, the Ti2 is usually available for $6-7. At the same price, I'm not sure I'd chose this nano light over it for any reason.

If you want real actual power from a mini keychain light look at

https://www.amazon.com/Rechargeab...B07D4GYYBJ
https://www.amazon.com/RovyVon-Ke...B07CNWLDGJ

Basically any RovyVon Aurora series lights. They are super small and well made.

10 Lumens? Just out of curiosity, how many Lumens does your average match have?

The internet says a candle is about 12.5 lumens.

There are so many just like those on Amazon. Have you used those particular ones?

I got the free O light Keychain, liked them so much, bought another small one aaa light and free rechargeable Keychain light during bf. Excellent rechargeable lights. I used to have nitecore then with these.

Not sure I would get anything beyond aaa or aa for swappable rechargeable battery. Just for easiness of availability on batteries.

If you really need tiny one, op post seems good except the battery. Hope it last a while as no one may use it other than occasional use.

I used to carry an i3 for years but I've switched to nitecore tiki, 300 lumen main, with a uv and hi cri sidelights in a smaller size. Until Xmas you can get them for $15 each if you buy 4 at battery junction. There's also a jetbeam 500 lumen with uv and color leds for 13 I think

I used to have one of these. Kept unscrewing and dumping the batteries in my pocket. Eventually threw it out when I lost a battery because those batteries are tiny.
