Placed order yesterday with overnight shipping
Arrived at my house 24 hours later.
Thanks for this, I assume the screen is aftermarket because it has film, correct? Not sure if there's a way to know for sure by running some sort of diagnostic but it would be nice to know.

thanks for the update ! repped
looks like definitely aftermarket screen
what does the warranty say?
Get off the pipe bro. That's a screen protector on the screen also you cannot tell just by looking at a picture with the screen turned off. Stop with the speculation. The thread will go nuts with everyone asking about aftermarket screens.

LMAO
I've ordered enough of these 'refurbs' to know that those are aftermarket screen films ...same ones that come with aftermarket screens
I don't mind. I know what I'm buying.

First time doing this kind of deal. I want to keep this phone for 2 months, and then switch it tmobiel after it (hopefully) unlocks.

Should I activate this via email?
If so, should I choose a new number?

Choose the activate today option. Do it from a desktop.
Here are the options I chose:
Carrier: unlocked activate today $399
New phone number
trade in iPhone XR: $200
add a plan: Tmobile
final cost with tax: $229

This does not look right...

Can you point me to the WIKI you mention?

Nice. At least they are reasonably new, considering this is an older model.

If I want to get it unlocked but don't want to bother with having to do anything in 60 days, is it better to "activate" via email or will that mean I have to cancel service in 30 days?
Sorry I'm not sure if I should activate or not.

here's the issue with these phones and the new unlock policy... Who knows if tracfone will unlock these after the 60 days since technically they were more than likely activated before November 20th or whatever date they put. If it was before the November date, it's 12 months of service.
At this point, your guess is as good as mine. I am paying for 2nd month mainly because I need the service anyway, and paying for 2 months of service will give me a better case to argue with the CS rep on Total Wireless if the phone doesn't get unlocked.

Personally, it is just hard for me to believe they spend the time to replace the screen and battery but still have the phone associating with the previous activation. In any case, we will know the answer in 2 months like you've said.

Edit: I will try checking the activation status after I received the phone on https://sickw.com/
