Just gave a data point, I am able to trade in 7 XRs under same bestbuy account, even though the term says limit 5 per model per 12 months. It is not enforced by the system.

For $190 Gift Card or $300? Did you trade all device in one go or did separately?

For 190 gift card, 4 in one batch, then 3 in one batch, at the same store, two days.

anyone facing issues activating XR unlocked using RSIM with Xfinity mobile ?
says :

Carriers often lock the phones they sell so they can't work on any other network. They're usually locked if money is still owed on them.
Before you can activate on Xfinity Mobile, ask your old carrier to unlock your phone by calling their customer service number. Once your phone is unlocked, you can come back here and complete activation.

From personal experience, rsim isn't reliable as it doesn't fully unlock the sim tray it still thinks it's spoofing another carrier, I would only use R-sim as a last ditch try, I have used Rsim 15+ and 17.

Recently I discovered the nyturbo card, (not an endorsement, nor am I affiliated in any way.) I've already fully unlocked 4 iPhone XRs bought from here for myself and others.

the turbo sim fully unlocks the sim card slot, "wifi calling and other carrier features work as expected".

This was all done on ios 15.2.1, I don't personally use xfinity, but I am on t-mobile and so far the XR has been working flawlessly for me after I unlocked it.

the one I have is the white card, look it up, there's guys who sell them online and on e-bay.

the iccid and imsi is updateable, once you unlock your iphone you remove the sim card and run your regular carrier sim card as normal, there's no piggyback like the R-sim.

you can keep using it from phone to phone since it's not a one time use, they can be had for around $6-7, best money I've ever spent for a phone accessory lol.

BTW, for some reason, at this time AT&T prepaid iphone SE was not able to be unlocked using the white nyturbo card, I've tested, T-mobile, Simple Mobile, Total Wireless iphones with 100% success. (on IOS 15.2)

$130 iphone XR + $7 sim unlock = super awesome unlocked iphone deal!

Anyone have any unique insight or instructions on how they managed to get their Total Wireless IOS device to be unlocked via the White RSIM?

I've been dealing with trying to unlock 2 of my devices/recent purchases to be used on Boost and Mint Mobile (both T-MOBILE MVNOs), but every time the activation fails and rejects my SIM cards after following the procedure the EBay seller provides? I even tried putting the RSIM cards in an unlocked iPhone, update the ICCID/IMSI settings from there to then pop in to the TW IOS device but that does nothing and still fails

I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP, TYSM!!

If looking for a card to unlock, you may want to look at the recommendations from Appleguy or Gibsonbass on the following page. They're both long term Slickdealers with good reputation who have more posts than only about SIM cards. I would be wary of recommendations by newer SD accounts with hardly any posts.

I posted this earlier, but will repost for you.

I unlocked 3 iphone XR running IOS 15.2.1

Here's my tips:

1)If yours is not working right do a "Restore" via itunes.
2)Setup the phone as usual with (original network simcard (TFW in this case).
3)Connect your Wifi.
4)Sign into your AppleID and setup your PIN/Passcode. (edit, you don't need to use appleid, you can just use a pin like 1234, etc.)
5)Once phone is completely setup and you're at the homepage, remove Orig sim and Insert NYTurbo sim.
6)You will get prompted to Activate phone.
7)At activation screen there is a "i" in the bottom corner, touch it and check to see what ICCID is programmed, you will likely need to update it.
8) use 89014103270421601857 for iccid (see nyturbo.com for latest iccid/imsi)
9) use 31041000000000 for imsi (at some point the zeros will stop this is fine)
***It will constantly prompt over and over for the ICCID again but once you've touched "Accept" below it's programmed and you can press "Back" and ignore these popups.***.
10) Observe the chinese words (SeiKou) Touch Accept.
11) At this point the phone will try to activate with the server over the Wifi.
12) You will get prompted "This phone is Activate protected" this is a good sign!
(if you just used a pin code) it will take you back to home page after activation)
13) Touch Use Passcode (use your pin/passcode here), will hang for a bit, then go back to the home screen. (You're Done!)

Double check your work, go to Settings, General, About, scroll down for "Carrier Lock" if it says "No Sim restrictions" you were successful!

Remove the NYTurbo sim and insert your Att or Tmo and enjoy! Applause
