Wanna know why Hawaii has strict Covid protocols? Because we have only handful of hospitals and limited healthcare resources. If one of our hospitals fills up due to covid patients, it creates strain on the workers and other not-well-equipped, secondary hospitals. Lately, covid cases here have been skyrocketing, but the state and county has NOT increased any additional restrictions… because the hospitals have been managing the loads. If the vaccine weren't as effective as it is, we would be in a lot of trouble in Hawaii. So if the boosters are keeping people live here, we will take that.

Key West sounds like a better destination for you. You'd at least be 30 min life flight to Miami if you injure yourself hiking or have a medical emergency. Aloha.

Can they build an airport near Georgetown. Impossible to do check in at Austin. Four hours on last weekend to get checked in for domestic flight that has a travel time of three hours
