I haven't found this to be remotely the case in my use. Smooth as butter, very quick and haven't had the first bug or glitch.
Be aware that if you are a Cricket customer looking for a phone to use on their network this will NOT work starting February of 2022. It has to be the IN2015, which the T-Mobile version is not.
lol where do you people come up with this stuff. i've had it for like a month and it's fine.

I dont know about regular photography but it takes amazing low light pics.

My wife has the 8t and we were able to take very clear pictures of our baby with very little ambient light.
You can always install GCAM to help with picture quality.

For some reason review rating for this phone on TMobile website seems to be like 3.4/5 and for one plus 8 I think remember seeing it as 3/5

It should as long as it uses the same bands as they use in India.

Check Connectivity of LTE and BANDS with those of phones in India.

I read someone who said they were going to send it to their father in India. But you should check to make sure

this oneplus 8T or samsung S21 from bestbuy?
both are $400 (although s21 requires some work in cancelling new line).

From what I understand GCAM does NOT currently work on the 8T which is what they said they had.

Camera is not good on this phone. I have a 6t and tried upgrade to the 8t on Black Friday but had to return it. The 6t is better in lowlight. And if you use apps like Snapchat definitely do not bother with this.

Are you sure you're not talking about the 9?
Not sure about that as they are listed on that site. You have to make sure you download the SNAPCAM VERSION AND THE CONFIG FILE. This is the one I installed and it has CONFIG FILE FOR THE 8T. I do have the 8

Might be worth a try. If it doesn't work then just uninstall it.

Last checked, AT&T is shutting down its 3G network and OP6 doesn't have any compatible 4G bands with AT&T network. Does that sound like "banning" to you? If so, then Samsung buyers should be concerned too since AT&T is also "banning" some older Samsung phones too when it shuts down its 3G network.

You're obviously talking out of the wrong end of your body.

I've had a OnePlus since the 3. I've had no issues with OnePlus phones until my 7t updated to Android 11. My battery life tanked and 2-3 times a week my screen crashes and goes back to 60hz. I have to toggle 60hz on and off to get it back to 90hz. That one's not that big of a deal. About once a week Adaptive Brightness bugs out and makes my screen so dark I can't see anything, and changing the brightness does nothing. I have to hard reset it to fix it. r/OnePlus is full of other users with these problems. OnePlus isn't the great company they used to be.
I think these updates screw things up with the update instead of a fresh install. I installed 11.1.2.2 on a 6t and it's been very good.

If that's your only gripe, realize it has warp charging which is many times faster. My ultimate concern is the battery life with the ultra fast charging. See my other issues posted already though as I've used the phone for a year.
Honestly my op7pro was a revelation. It charges from 20% to 100% in 45 minutes to an hour. I had to get used to running around all day without having to get my phone to a charger along with changing my "start music when in car" tasker routine to kick off when I connected to the car via bluetooth instead of checking for power.

Thanks for straightening me out. I saw it mentioned and thought it was the 8T...was one of the things keeping me on the fence. The other is I'm on Mint and not sure if that would be enough for t-mobile to be able to unlock the t-mobile version.
