If you have an old router or modem sitting around in your home that you're not using, you can recycle and save 15% off a new router/modem @ BB (in store only)

I just did it this morning and got 15% off this same router for $238 (before taxes). Note your nearby BB must have this router in stock in store though (you can check by online to see which store has it).

This is a great deal, thanks!!! Here's what I did:
1. Clicked 2% CB link for BestBuy (not sure if it will take or not yet)
2. Once at BestBuy.com, added the AX86U to my cart.
3. Went to this link to activate $25 off $250 by using Paypal at Bestbuy: https://www.paypal.com/shopping/?...8H6RSY7WCE
4. Went back to Bestbuy cart and purchased with Paypal for $282.29 (my total with tax)
5. Clicked Chat with Bestbuy agent and talked to agent within a few minutes.
6. Sent link to $229 price at Microcenter to BestBuy agent and asked to match my purchase
7. BestBuy agent said it was sold out and couldn't match a competitor, per store policy, if sold out.
8. I told her to look at pick up in store and "please check another store location", where she was able to find a store that had it in stock and match it.
9. The Bestbuy agent refunded me $50 plus the $4.86 tax.
10. Total price paid was $204.99 plus tax!! and maybe some CB, we'll see!

Would this stack with a PM to Microcenter? I presume no way to get it to stack with paypal $25 since the 15% off is only in store.

Is the $25 off using paypal an instant discount so your credit card is only charged $255+tax? And did you already get the $50 refund from best buy or is that going to be in a few business days as customer service reps ususally say? Because once the refund goes through, the $25 paypal discount might drop off.

the paypal credit is actually after tax, so my credit card is charged 280+tax-25. And the 50 refund is supposed to arrive a few days later, hopefully the credit is still there...

BTW I used Chase credit card so there's another 5% back

Thank you. BB price matched it for online purchase (as mentioned by OP) ! Total $229.99+tax (did'nt have the $25 off $250 Paypal offer on my account). I chatted online on bestbuy.com. It took less than 10 minutes for the price-match process and placing order.

Same here - no Micro Center outlet in my state. BB did'nt have any issues price-matching. The agent did'nt even check that it is an in-store only item. Most BB locations near me did'nt have this item in stock. The agent just directly price matched the item at $229.99 and sent me an express link via chat to pay online. All was done in under 10 minutes !

I've been using this router for most of the year and it's been rock solid. I haven't had to reset my router for any reasons so far. Merlin is also available for this model now.

Pricematched at Best Buy. Most reviewers seem to agree that this is the best router out there right now so I've been watching for a deal. I'll use my older Asus routers as nodes with this one as the master.
