On the other hand, Sekiro is also on sale at $30 at Stadia, the exact same price on Steam. Not sure why it's not listed here, but I might buy that game for the same reason.
If people stop thinking about ownership of console and games but more like subscription or even movie rental, playing games on stadia is incredibly cheap if you can manage the limitations of streaming in general.

Stadia is showing strong signs of poor sales and continued business...if it shuts down, you lose the games simple as that.
This OPs explanation or, lack there of...just ignore it. It's one of the dumbest things I have read in a while. Yikes
Id just buy them on PS or Xbox then. Stadia needs to go cheaper to gain a fan base.
To be fair, they are in a bit of a Catch 22 situation (you are not going to see good sales on Stadia until Stadia gets a large player base, but you're not going to get a large player base until they start seeing good sales). When Sony or Microsoft have a sale, it's typically the games' publisher who takes the revenue hit, not MS or Sony. Those OEM's can demand it from the publishers because they have market power. That's not the case in the games market for Stadia (or Oculus who also has shit sales for that matter). At this point, we don't see any evidence that Google wants to eat the loss required to grow its market presence.

Xbox is my main gaming platform. But I like to have a small collection of games on Stadia so that I can play when I'm visiting the parents or out of town. One of my best purchases is Family Feud. Even non gamers love playing that one.
and most of the prices in this list is not that good. its been cheaper physically and digitally some place else
Try playing a PlayStation 3 game without an Internet connection. When it can't call home, your disc becomes a coaster.
Just because you own a piece of plastic doesn't give you the right to use the software forever, anymore. You honestly should have figured this out 15 years ago when this started happening, but you didn't.
