It's 80 dollars and will be just fine for most people. If we eliminate everything made in China, there won't be much left. It's a good deal, regardless of where it's made.

Bought this one last time and have used it for ~2 weeks. I think it's well worth it. I got this and the Tru one as well and they're way better than the bog standard CAP barbells I sold for $60 apiece on marketplace.
The titan has a fatter grip and knurling in the center that I use for the bench and the Tru grit for squats and freeform. Both spin well.

Edit- Here's some close up pictures of both for comparison.
The Knurling is identical(except the center), the total length and plates sleeve length are the same, and the bar diameters are different (Tru = ~28mm, Titan =~30).

The Tru Grit bumper plates are also from Walmart. I like them and they're still available.

I actually posted this deal back in December 7th and it was going on for a while before it expired. The deal was also available on Amazon, but moderators terminated my posting of it because of the third party posting rule regarding minimum reviews required (I think).

Walmart has a better return policy anyways. Too bad you missed this deal before, but for the price I bet your inching towards tricking yourself into buying it anyways Wink One of the many bad habits formed here.

So it seems the main difference is the tru grit has a bearing while this one is just a bushing. tru grit was black too, which I like better. tbh I probably can't tell the difference between bearing and bushing, but I'll use that as an excuse to keep it.

Looks like a decent bar especially for the price. Next jump up would be Bells of Steel, then Rogue, EliteFTS. But the general public, yeah it's good.

Titan Fitness makes some hit or miss items. Their safety squat bar is amazing (now with v.2) but not sure about this. With it being Walmart, it's an easy return. Thanks OP.

I'd put their ssb right up there with elitefts's bar. I've got this particular straight bar as well and it is amazing. For majority of gymrats, this bar is more than enough and is excellent quality for the price.

Most of everything are manufactured in China, some in India. Companies will slap their brands on products and import to consumers in the US. So if you're buying Rogue, Rep Fitness, Titan, etc. they all probably come from the same factory. The only difference is in how stringent certain companies are in upholding standards and their warranty process.
