OMG, been waiting for this deal on a thinkpad!

I maxed out all specs for a total of 1160.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1...sp=sharing

That's 4k display, 5850U, 48gb ram, "backlit keyboard" WAN LTE card, and card reader!
Took the 128gb ssd, will be swapping for something better!

Make sure you choose the backlit keyboard, it's not obvious that it doesn't include it!

The difference between 32gb ram and 48gb ram was $130, all the 32gb ram modules on amazon were more than $130 so getting it from the factory is a better deal!
(edit found a better deal on ram module than paying lenovo for it).

I will be swapping out the SSD, I am going to put a Samsung 980 Pro 1TB in her!

12 months no interest payments! it's a deal man!

This is arguably the best deal for a Highspec Thinkpad I've seen since Black Friday!

btw make sure you go throu R10 for extra 8% cashback and enable your SD extension!

Ok...popular thread... but folks on this thread seem like Scrooge when it comes to giving reps. Big Grin

But its Christmas - so here is a hack to still get this deal from Santa...

I tried and worked - Ofcourse its YMMV

1. On the cart screen, convert the cart to a Quote, you should see the option at the bottom of the screen once signed in

2. Then go to the quote in your account. Convert the quote to a cart.

3. Checkout with the discounted price.

The quote won't work if you try to create it on the checkout screen.

Attached snapshot of a dummy order I made.

Merry Christmas! Smilie

Just tried to order and got a failure at the very end.

"We are sorry, the order was created failed since the coupon you applied is not available anymore."

I also went back and removed the $60 savings code and the result was the same.

Bad brand. Both my lightly used Lenovo yoga laptops died just past the 1 year mark. They'd start to power on but the screen wouldn't turn on. I replaced the battery, power button switch, etc., to no avail. I realize this is a different model, but still a shitty brand.
I have two ThinkPads from 10/11 years ago. Still going strong. Physical damage.. drops.. kid walking over it. It's seen it all. The maxed out spec is certainly tempting to buy minus the extra for the SSD.

I read the comments about it not being a gamer laptop. Do you think this laptop is good for photo-editing softwares etc and maybe video-editing?

Lenovo needs to start making thinner screen bezels. This has the same bezel as my T450s from 2015...

Looks similar - but way thinner than the 450s.

But I agree... even the current bezel has no need, considering when most other OEs can do without.

Everything worked. Was even able to add the bluetooth mouse for only $3 more. Anyone know exactly which AMD card is included? Would it be able to handle some light gaming at 1080p?
Which mouse and how? Can't see any that cheap. Is there another coupon?
