Passport Card is just for those very few who don't want to bring their passport for domestic travel, and don't want to bother getting a real id from the state.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking this post. $20 is $20. Based on the news headline I had briefly seen i figured the price was going up by $100 or double, not just $20. Personally I'm gonna hold off on international travel for the time being. It seems like too much of a hassle currently. Hopefully summer will be better 🙏
