I went to the website today and found this message. Drinkworks is being discontinued and they're offering refunds for machines no matter where and when you purchased it. You have to submit for a reimbursement ID. I'm waiting to hear back on what they want as proof of purchase, will edit post when I find out.
From the website:
"On 12/15 we made the difficult decision to stop selling our Home Bar machines. We're offering you the opportunity to receive reimbursement for your Home Bar, no matter where or when you bought it. The offer is valid until February 28, 2021"

Edit: Never heard back from the website. I emailed [email protected] with my serial number and received a reimbursement ID within 10 minutes. you select how you would like the refund, paypal, Venmo, zelle, or a MasterCard gift card. Will update with how long it takes.

Can these be hacked or are you going to have a very cool paper weight after you run out of carbonation tanks and pods?

Or am I thinking too much. Looks like it ends up being free after reimbursement so what the heck..

The pods are nearly impossible to find now. They have been for months. I think they've been contemplating this but finally pulled the trigger. I haven't looked into hacking them, but for what they are it probably wouldn't be worth it. Would be easier to just mix the drink yourself.

Did you successfully go through the reimbursement process?

I get to the Reimbursement ID/Captcha portion and every time I click Login the page just refreshes.

Interesting. I was able to submit a request for a reimbursement ID and there wasn't a captcha. I used chrome on my Android device.
