Get a gaming laptop instead for around this price if you catch it on sale.
The use cases are quiet different. Normally you can always get a cheaper or older gaming laptop at the price of these kind of Mini PCs and based on your logic, there shouldn't be any market for these kind of devices, right? But that is clearly not true.

That 35W CPU is like 10-20% faster (CPU and graphics) than the i5-1135G7 you typically see in laptops or in the NUC11.

I had linked that in a thread for a laptop that had the same 11320H as this mini PC:

https://slickdeals.net/f/15414325-dell-inspiron-14-laptop-14-1080p-intel-core-i5-11320h-8gb-ddr4-512gb-pcie-nvme-ssd-550-free-shipping

I think it's a little atypical to get a good dedicated graphics card around the ~$500 mark outside of BF, but these mini PCs are definitely overpriced. They may last longer than the laptops though.
Not overpriced it's just that the market (and manufacturing volume) for 4 or 6" PCs is so small that you don't see sales like you do on a cheap mass market laptop.

You basically pay MSRP for this or a NUC.

The use case here is quiet SFF. So HTPC, NVR, headless server, etc. After having built a beefy(compute) mini ITX SFF machine as an NVR for my security cameras, I can say this price is comparable. I have an 8 core cpu so a little better, and mine will be better cooled, but this wins on size. Depends what your priorities are. Great deal, OP.

For HTPC use, the 8GB is fine. What are you planning to use it for that needs the additional RAM?

Or a open box or refurbished M1 MacMini i keep seeing pop up for $549-$579 granted thats for the 8GB/256SSD model but for its intended purpose probably enough...the M1 chip is howeveer much more powerful then this LTPC

Boxes like this with replaceable drives can make for decent headless servers, esp for demos.

Finally dual NIC so you don't have to deal with USB nic with Intel NUC. Too bad ram is soldered else would make a nice VM box with 64gb ram.
