I've played Episode 1 and 2… Both are about 45 minutes to an hour play time.. It basically walks you through the levels… It's a great experience for Oculus though… One of the best games I have played on it…
This might be a dumb question but can you buy these oculus games and run them on PCVR Mixed Reality headset? I heard you can use revive to run Oculus Rift games, but I'm not sure how certain games, maybe oculus quest exclusives, are locked to just those devices?
I know Vader immortal isn't a quest exclusive but just curious if anyone has gotten into that stuff and knows how hard it is or if it's just better to suck it up and buy on steam.
Better to buy on steam or on oculus store? Can I still use airlink and play it in better quality if I buy it on quest store?
First, I don't think Vader Immortal is available on PC anywhere other than on Oculus store.
If you want to buy on Steam you'll need a beefy PC with a decent graphics card and a robust WiFi router, and expect the playtime to be shorter than if you buy the native version.
OTOH there are games that only run on PC (like HL: Alyx) where a native version is not an option, or there are games where the native version is inferior in quality. Where that's not the case, I think it makes more sense to buy the native version via Oculus.
