If you want one that's made in the USA skip this and look for TCC9D-US

That one's on sale, too. I'll add to the original post. Thanks, and reps.

Amazon OOS. What's the difference between TCC9 and TCC9D-US. Just made in America?

Typically those are for wire sizes no larger than 12-10 AWG

I want to want these, but every pair like this that I've ever used, the cutters barely touch. Then you're stuck trying to deal with those few small strands it didn't cut. User error perhaps.

As a commercial and industrial journeyman electrician this tool is a must have for any electrician. However I would not recommend the brand. There are better more durable choices like Klein,Ideal and Knipex. Just my 2 cents worth.

I always come away with crappy crimps using this style (Klein), and I believe it's best to use a multi size crimper for the individual size of terminal you're using.

Harbor Freight sell a pair for $6.49 right now that I think work just fine. I used them about once a day for 5 years. Never had a problem and I still have them. I even bought a second pair to have in another tool box. After seeing this listing it reminds me that I should buy a 3rd pair for an electric repair go box that I have made.

For comparison, my co-worker has a snap on pair that I didn't feel were much better. If you want USA made then obviously don't go to Harbor Freight.

You apparently need to learn the correct way to use your Klein crimpers. These are for uninsulated connectors. Klein has never failed me. If you are getting bad crimps you are obviously using them incorrectly.

10ga... but with enough hand strength you can get to 8ga

But normally nothing over a yellow crimp connection

I still have my set from where I did car audio in the 90s/early 2000s ... did pro car audio for nearly 10yrs.

Klein was always our go to brand. In 10yrs I think I only had 3 pairs.

Then you didn't use properly.

For reference I did car audio as a profession for 10yrs. We only ever used kleins.
