The last electric pole saw I purchased was back in 2011. It was an Earthwise model with the same size cutting chain and a similar 6.5 amp power output. That saw lasted me over 8 years of heavy hard wood cutting. The chain was replaced one time during it's life. I paid $88 for the Earthwise. Accounting for inflation and the application of state sales tax that were not applied to orders back in 2011 the $53 for the Sun Joe saw is a great deal.

I dont want anything with batteries. Corded is perfect.
I am trying to trim palm leaves, and while the Fiskar manual saw is pretty good, with the effort and maneuvering I need to do with it and it getting stuck...
This looks like the answer, except the Fiskar at 14ft was just right with me reaching on a 1oft ladder.
This might need me to buy a much longer ladder...OR get a more applicable tool?
