I value my time and safety so yeah I use Instacart all the time. Who the hell likes grocery shopping anyway? And you can write notes on each item you want to clarify exactly what you want, replace out of stock items with something else, chat with the shopper to make modifications or provide clarification, and get refunded if they screw up. Only thing I don't like is the tipping aspect, it's not a proper business model if they are requiring their members to make up for the low wages they get paid. I should be getting paid for singing their praises but I'm not, I just really hate grocery shopping especially in the covid era. Unfortunately makes social/economic inequality a little more pronounced, by distinguishing the shoppers from the shopped for, but what can you do (besides add to the tip).
