Get off your lazy butts and do your own shopping.
home, driving to the store and using their car's gas and I choose a grocery store on InstaCart that doesn't mark up their prices (there are MANY good options in my area that don't have any mark up) it's worth it. I've used InstaCart 90 times in 2021. Time savings is worth it. (For any haters, I tip 10-15% on all deliveries)

Edit^
Meant to say Lucky's not Raley's
Edit edit: Raley's also has no markup lol (but is more expensive, in general)

Also, just to be clear, you used the, obviously paid for, featured snippet that google now includes. If you click on literally any other link when you google that phrase, they all pretty much completely refute that, especially gridwise [gridwise.io]. Gridwise seems to be a tracking software that these companies use, or maybe it's the shoppers, I don't know. It clearly shows around a $16-17/hour figure for early 2021, which was probably higher than it is now. That includes tips, but is also before the 15.3% SS and Medicare taxes, income tax after deductions, gas, car maintenance and repairs, supplies, business insurance and higher car insurance, etc. That's also average for all markets. Some markets are even worse than that figure while others are obviously higher.
Edit: They were also on a downward trend in payout in early 2020 with an immediate but largely stagnant uptick in pay in march 2020. What this appears to be is that people started tipping more. February 2020 was likely down due to COVID fears and panic buying clearing out grocery shelves. That doesn't change that it's super obvious the only reason anyone is making even $17/hour(really more like $11-12 after expenses) with instacart is due to the pandemic and general stay at home guidelines.
