I'd jump on this in a second if I was able to do a store pickup and trade in my current switch to buy this. Great for those of you that already treaded in and are sitting on credit though!

If you traded in your switch, how long does it take for the trade in credits show up on your account? Is it immediate?

its basically store credit, like a gift card and can be used for anything

You totally can. They will sell you the Switch for you to take home and do all the transfers (tip - if you do Animal Crossing, you have to do the extra Animal Crossing move app or beg customer service to restore from cloud IF you turned it on) and be sure all is well. You take it back and they will 'return' the new Switch, trade in your old, and then sell you the new one.

Done this at two different Gamestops over the years, once for my 3ds and just last week for the OLED one, both times offered by them. You can also do the transfer utility right in the store, but it can take some time.
