Try it slowly first with big muscle like your quad, triceps. Be sure to use the soft attachment. Also some muscles might hurt if you're tensed up. My calf muscle hurt when I first tried last week. I didn't realize I was "bracing myself for impact" like natural respond. Better to start slowly to get used to with high frequency vibration.
It's like the red light panel craze, you can find the manufacturer on Alibaba who makes all the panels with different outer shells and you realize you can just buy 3rd party or direct for a fraction of the price. You've got a heavily marketed social media device that was sent out to influencers for free.
It's just an instagram product jacked up to be "high end" by marketing.
Buy a cheap one on Amazon, you'll be fine.

Having owned and gifted many of the cheaper ones, as well as owning an actual Theragun - here are some thoughts:
That said, for the average Joe, the cheaper guns are fine. But if you're actually looking to improve recovery after working out, sports, it may be worthwhile to go with with the Theragun. Even the Mini (often found for <$150) is potent, but doesn't have changeable heads.
